Alejandro Ramos
"Hondro"
Born and raised in the Bay Area of California, Alejandro found his calling early on in the art of cinematography. Fascinated by the dance of light and shadow, he quickly recognized the camera as more than a tool—it was a means to shape perspective, evoke emotion, and connect audiences to stories that matter. That discovery sparked a lifelong pursuit of excellence in visual storytelling.
His journey took him from the Bay Area to Los Angeles, where he spent seven formative years sharpening his craft and developing a unique visual language. Now based in Atlanta and working bi-coastally, Alejandro has brought his vision to five feature films, a range of short films, commercial campaigns, and music videos. His credits include My Dead Dad, The Idea of Progress, Saffron Kingdom, Cycle, and Groups of Two, alongside brand collaborations with Grand Marnier, the NFL, and BMW.
Alejandro’s leadership is defined by more than technical expertise—it lies in his ability to inspire, collaborate, and champion stories that resonate across cultures. With every project, he strives to create not only powerful imagery but also an environment where voices are elevated, ideas are nurtured, and diverse perspectives shape the final vision.
For him, filmmaking is more than a career—it’s a purpose. It’s about transforming ideas into cinematic experiences that honor identity, ignite dialogue, and leave lasting impact.
